I had the opportunity to join Quavo just over five years ago as the first Production Support Manager. Prior to that, I had worked for a couple of large tech companies as a manager and as a Linux engineer. So, my background is 100% technology related, which is weird here at Quavo because most people I work with all have a background from financial companies. The leadership at Quavo fosters a culture of transparency and inclusivity, which is not something you find in most companies these days. I have the privilege of working alongside some incredibly talented individuals. One fascinating thing about Quavo is that there seem to be no egos, everyone gets along and quite frankly, I would hang out with every single one of our employees outside of work. This is another thing that just does not happen these days, it is a great culture.

In this role, you will ideate, write, and groom user stories for feature-driven projects and product work. Working closely with your immediate team and cross-functionally, you will manage, maintain, and protect the scope of product work to ensure timely and effective delivery of new and iterative functionality. This is a remote, full-time position offering a generous salary and bonus opportunities.

Requirements

Must Haves

  • At least 2 years of agile product management experience
  • Proven understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and roadmaps
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders; strength in personal leadership, driving results, and relationship-building
  • Ability to evaluate the tradeoffs of the product management process and effectively prioritize tasks by comparing the benefits of each approach
  • Excellent, decisive communication skills with the capability to present to and tailor information and communication style to varying audiences, including senior leadership
  • Experience using data to identify insights and solve problems; ability to switch seamlessly between strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • High school diploma

If your answer is yes, let’s talk!  Quavo, an innovative, trailblazing fintech company, is recruiting for a Project Manager.

In this role, you will own product and configuration delivery from start to finish, ensuring on-time and on-target deliveries. You will coordinate cross-functional resources and deliverables, prepare and maintain plans, reports, and risk and issue logs, and facilitate consultative working sessions with clients to understand software requirements and best practices, all while ensuring proactive, effective communication across project teams. This is a full-time, fully remote position.

Requirements

Must Haves

  • 5+ years of project management experience; demonstrated drive for results and accountability of business needs
  • 3+ years of experience with the full product lifecycle; understanding of the development lifecycle and various technology methodologies
  • Familiarity with SaaS (software-as-a-service) and capable of advising on industry standards for successful post-production support
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to stakeholders and/or senior leadership
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence a cross-functional team, facilitate change, and enhance performance
  • High school diploma
