Joe oversees all facets of Quavo’s business and is directly accountable to Quavo’s Board of Directors and investors. He brings over a decade of executive experience in technology and operations related to fraud and dispute management, regulatory requirements, and chargeback technology. Joe contributed his depth of knowledge to the development of QFD®, Quavo’s automated, cloud-based dispute management software. He also oversaw the establishment of DRE™, Quavo’s back-office dispute processing team. Joe’s expertise in fraud investigations also helped launch ARIA®, the world’s only AI capable of investigating fraud claims as a human would but within seconds and while upholding regulatory compliance.
Dave is responsible for Quavo’s product divisions, bringing over five years of technical executive experience to the table. As a co-founder, Dave is credited with turning our vision for fraud and dispute management into a reality. He possesses a unique ability to understand business needs while retaining deep expertise in technology and its capabilities. Dave’s work has been included in multiple patent filings, and he has won industry awards for contributions to innovation.
Dan is accountable for handling all business administration activities at Quavo Fraud & Disputes and applying his expertise and acumen to drive growth and stability. Dan is instrumental in establishing how Quavo operates and succeeds as a business by providing all the data and insight required to affect all business decisions positively. His responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial compliance, administration, legal agreements, investor obligations, and human resources. Dan brings five years of executive experience in finance and business administration to his role.
For over two decades, Ryan Sorrels has been a dedicated leader in the financial technology and services arena. His accomplishments in sales and delivery leadership roles at Kony DBX helped accelerate the organization to an impressive 500 percent growth and eventual acquisition by Temenos in 2019. As COO and CRO for Nymbus, Ryan spearheaded the company’s growth, leading to a more than 5x increase during his tenure. He combined his sales, delivery, and operations expertise to pioneer new ways for Nymbus to collaborate with financial institutions through creative, mutually beneficial contracts and operating models. Ryan will now be joining Quavo to leverage his experience and help Quavo continue its growth and leadership in the fraud and disputes industry, building on his track record of driving innovation and success.
Rebecca is a thoughtful problem solver and organizational effectiveness evangelist responsible for leading all aspects of Human Resources at Quavo. She combines robust leadership skills with two decades of experience leading HR and large-scale transformation. Rebecca is passionate about the power of people practices driving business outcomes. She channels that passion into building and implementing Quavo’s leadership and talent strategy.
As Quavo’s EVP of Technology, Jon is responsible for researching and leading many of the company’s IT and development efforts. Jon assisted in the infrastructure development for Quavo’s fraud management tool, ARIA®. His ability to think outside the box is a driving factor in developing new solutions and providing support at Quavo.
As Chief of Staff, Nick is responsible for the inter-operability of Quavo. He is accountable for efforts such as, Quavo’s operating system, executive and leadership team strategy-setting, cross divisional goal management, organizational alignment, and establishing an efficacious work environment.
Rich leads our corporate development, industry research, and capital raising efforts using his entrepreneurial experience of having launched successful software companies on a global scale. Rich has established multiple financial services companies specializing in mobile banking software, digital payments, and core banking platforms. He utilizes his expertise to ensure Quavo’s mission to develop and advance the industry standard in fraud and disputes management is obtained.
Sandy brings over 20 years of experience in sales, leadership, training, enablement, and revenue operations to Quavo. She has a proven track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing operations through data-driven insights and innovative solutions. She has led sales teams to exceed targets, developed effective go-to-market strategies, and implemented scalable processes to drive growth.
Sandy truly understands what teams need and is committed to working collaboratively while challenging the status quo. Her passion is to enable teams through intense focus on the complete customer buying journey related to systems, tools, training, and processes.
Ben drives client engagement throughout the sales lifecycle, from initial conversations to established partnerships. With an enterprise banking background in managing inbound claims center and back-office investigations teams, Ben leads Quavo’s solutions executives in providing financial institutions with strategic fraud and dispute SaaS solutions to support their unique business needs.
As the Director of Marketing, Nichole leads a team of marketing professionals across an array of brand touchpoints including thought leadership, lead generation, media relations, advertising, events, social media, web, and more. She is excited to leverage that expertise at Quavo to drive brand awareness, market expansion, and customer loyalty.
Jeff is responsible for all technology support, feature rollout, and ongoing maintenance related to Quavo’s QFD™ automated dispute management platform. With a decade of experience as a Fintech developer, Jeff leads a technology team committed to furthering innovative, automated fraud and dispute solutions for issuing financial institutions, while also upholding stable product environments for end users.
With experience ranging from Fortune 500 companies to unicorn startups, Daniel Perret specializes in bringing clarity to iterative technological builds through a robust Product Management skill set. Dan joins Quavo with a proven track record of launching true zero-to-one products as well as driving ongoing feature-level enhancement while maintaining the software development life cycle. He holds an MBA from The College of William & Mary’s Raymond A. Mason School of Business and a BA in English from Lawrence University. Dan lives in Chicago, Illinois, with his wife and spends his free time distance cycling, cross-country skiing, traveling, and going to as many concerts as possible.
As the Director of Engineering, Jerome is the driving force behind Quavo’s product development, taking charge of the overall roadmap and strategy. Leading a talented team of designers, he ensures the delivery of cutting-edge solutions that not only align with the company’s vision but also anticipate future market trends and meet evolving customer needs.
Rex is responsible for Quavo’s Dispute Resolution Experts, each dedicated to ensuring cardholder satisfaction throughout the claims process. He has over 20 years of experience with fraud and disputes, both in operations and project management. Rex and his team are focused on regulatory compliance for clients through extensive industry expertise and experience.
Trevor Clarke is Co-Founder of Ethoca, a fraud and dispute management company that ignited collaboration between banks and merchants globally. Trevor led Ethoca’s technology and operations as their CTO before taking on market-facing roles as head of global issuer sales and business development. He departed Ethoca in 2021 after a highly successful acquisition by Mastercard (2019) and integration. He is now focused on helping innovative companies in the cybersecurity and biotech industries succeed in the market, including, for example, CAF.io (Brazil, founding investor), Netcraft (UK), and Quavo.
John Philpott is General Partner at FINTOP Capital. John began his career as one of the founding team members of S1 Corporation (NASDAQ: SONE). S1 originated as the creator of the World’s First Internet Bank, SFNB, and grew to over $200mm in annual revenue. While at S1, John served in a variety of roles including SVP and GM of S1’s International Business unit. Following S1, John helped found a multi-family family office and asset management firm. Most recently, John served as the Chief Executive Officer of Interactive Advisory Software, a practice management and technology firm for the wealth management industry, representing over $70b in reportable assets. John holds a degree from Davidson College, and lives with his family in Nashville, TN.
Jared is a Co-Founder and Partner at FINTOP Capital. Prior to FINTOP, Jared was the Director of Finance and Operations at a small venture studio in Nashville. There he managed multiple equity raises, seed/early venture investments, and an acquisition, in addition to performing modeling and analysis.
Jared holds degrees in Political Science from the University of Colorado and in Music Business from the Berklee College of Music. He is an avid big-mountain skier, cyclist, golfer, SCUBA diver, and musician. Jared lives with his family in Denver, Colorado.
